M&A Analyst / Associate

BDA Partners is seeking a highly motivated Experienced Analyst or Associate for its New York office. BDA is a leading cross-border M&A advisory firm focused on Asia-Pacific transactions, providing an excellent opportunity to gain expansive hands-on experience across sectors in M&A (sellside and buyside) and capital raising.

The role involves providing project management and execution support on complex transactions and preparing presentation materials to communicate key messages to clients and counterparties. Specific duties include preparation of financial models, valuation analysis, marketing documentation, and research.

Responsibilities include working directly with clients on M&A transaction execution; supporting senior investment banking professionals to develop marketing leads; defining and preparing financial and technical analysis for M&A engagements covering both public and private companies including buyside, sellside, corporate carve-outs, and cross-border M&A situations; assisting senior bankers in process management and due diligence; supporting negotiations and preparation of key transaction documents including confidentiality agreements, merger agreements, and asset purchase agreements; and performing valuation analysis using comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow models, and precedent transaction methodologies.

Candidates should have a deep understanding of valuation and broad finance, the ability to identify and vet potential buyers from pitch materials, and strong analytical skills to support sector teams in developing client-ready materials.
