Head of Operations, Retail Funds

AngelList is seeking a Head of Operations for its Retail Funds division in San Francisco to lead operations for USVC, an SEC-registered vehicle designed to open top-tier multi-stage venture capital to everyday investors. AngelList is one of the leading platforms for startup investing and fund administration, backed by a strategic partner RIA managing the USVC fund. As Head of Operations, the hire will own the complete fund operating model, including governance, service-provider management, NAV and reporting cycles, audit coordination, and distribution and transfer agency oversight. The role involves designing and managing relationships with fund administrators, auditors, custodians, and distributors, while maintaining PCAOB-grade controls and driving quarterly public reporting. The ideal candidate brings 8 or more years of registered fund operations experience with deep fluency in '40-Act requirements, board relations, and filing calendars (N-CSR/N-PORT). Compensation is $300,000 or more in base salary, complemented by benefits and an equity package.
