Portfolio Manager, Equities

Amethyst Partners is placing a Portfolio Manager for a boutique family-office-backed asset management firm in Hong Kong. The firm manages equity portfolios across Greater China and US markets and is seeking an experienced investment professional to lead portfolio strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage investment portfolios across Hong Kong, China and U.S. equities

- Develop investment theses and conduct equity research to generate investment ideas

- Formulate investment strategies to ensure capital preservation and alpha generation

- Manage portfolio construction, optimization, and implementation

- Monitor portfolio performance and risk attributes for overall investment efficiency

- Stay current on market trends across HK, China, and US markets

Requirements:

- At least 5 years of equity portfolio management experience in HK, China and U.S. markets

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline

- Strong market knowledge and verifiable investment track record

- Strong financial and analytical skills

- Adaptable to working in a small, high-trust office environment

- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
