About the Role

SHC is seeking an MBA Fall Associate to work directly with the firm's investment team across every stage of the investment process — thesis development, sourcing, execution, and portfolio value creation. Unlike a rotational seat at a large firm, this role offers genuine ownership of workstreams and daily interaction with the Partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Researching sectors and developing investment themes and target theses

- Financial modeling

- Utilizing enterprise AI tools in workflows across sourcing, diligence, and execution

- Identifying, screening, and helping build a pipeline of investment opportunities, including outreach to founders, intermediaries, and industry executives

- Supporting live deal execution and diligence
