Private Equity Principal - Lower Middle Market Buyout. A lower middle market private equity firm based in Miami, founded by an investor with nearly a decade of experience at a top PE firm before launching this platform. The firm has invested over $125 million across three platforms, completing more than two dozen acquisitions with two successful exits and returns exceeding 3x invested capital. The firm targets founder-owned businesses in essential services sectors including business services, value-added distribution, and specialty manufacturing across the Sun Belt, creating value through acquisitions, integration, infrastructure professionalization (sales, systems, technology, and reporting), and management team strengthening. This Principal role sits on the deal team, working directly with firm leadership to source, execute, and manage the firms investments. This is a hands-on, high-ownership seat: you will own transactions end to end, from origination through close, and stay closely engaged with portfolio companies and investors after the deal is done. A true Principal seat with real ownership of deals and outcomes, direct daily partnership with firm leadership as the platform scales past its independent-sponsor track record, and a genuine performance-based growth path with carry as a primary long-term economic driver.
