Role Overview

Woven Capital, Toyota's $1.6B growth-stage venture capital division, is hiring an AI-focused Venture Capital Associate in Palo Alto to target companies building new mobility and emerging-technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and deploy AI agents to streamline investment workflows and train team members on effective AI usage

- Source deals through market research and ecosystem networking

- Conduct due diligence: technology, financial, and market risk assessments

- Build financial models and investment presentations

- Monitor portfolio company performance and provide strategic guidance

- Track industry trends and contribute thought leadership

Qualifications

- Hands-on AI technology experience

- Bachelor's in Engineering/Computer Science (plus MBA) or Business/Finance

- 5+ years in investment banking, venture capital, consulting, tech building, or product management

- Deal sourcing, due diligence, and financial modeling expertise

- Comfort with deep tech/hard tech sectors

Compensation & Location

On-site, Palo Alto, California. $130,000-$150,000 base salary.
