Chief Executive Officer – PE-backed Industrial Products Manufacturer

Truenorth Executive Search is conducting a confidential CEO search on behalf of a private equity-backed manufacturer of engineered industrial components headquartered in the Pacific Northwest and Southcentral United States. The company serves critical infrastructure and heavy industrial end markets, including marine transportation, ports and terminals, offshore energy, coastal infrastructure, mining, bulk material handling, and municipal public works.

This is a compelling opportunity for a commercially driven executive to professionalize and scale a market-leading niche manufacturer and deliver a successful portfolio exit within a three- to five-year horizon. Backed by experienced private equity investors, the business is well-positioned for accelerated organic growth, operational excellence, and strategic expansion from its established foundation of quality, reliability, and long-standing customer relationships.

The incoming CEO will be responsible for driving organic revenue growth through commercial strategy, market expansion, and strengthened customer engagement; professionalizing the organization by implementing scalable processes, systems, and performance metrics; enhancing operational effectiveness across manufacturing, supply chain, and quality functions; and executing value creation milestones aligned with the private equity sponsor investment thesis.

Ideal candidates will be hands-on operators with a track record of growing businesses in industrial manufacturing or related sectors, experience working in or alongside a private equity environment, and the credibility and presence to lead senior management teams and represent the company to the PE sponsor and its investment committee. Prior CEO or senior operating executive experience at a private equity-backed company is strongly preferred.
