Midlevel/Senior Analyst, Opportunistic Credit Fund

Robin Judson Partners is recruiting on behalf of an entrepreneurial multibillion-dollar investment fund that invests in private equity and opportunistic credit, with a focus on consumer, retail, and services companies. The fund employs a unique crossover model that encourages close collaboration between the PE team and the growing credit business.

The credit business uses two main strategies: the purchase of dislocated corporate loans, and the acquisition of fulcrum debt to take control of overleveraged companies. The fund has an outstanding track record of strong returns in both credit and private equity.

The firm is seeking a Midlevel or Senior Analyst to serve as a number two person supporting the Head of Credit. The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial approach to investing, a fundamentals-driven credit skill set, the ability to build and leverage their network, strong firmwide resource management capabilities, deep understanding and ownership of risk, and the emotional intelligence to work effectively with other lenders and management teams.

The strongest candidates will have 8 to 15 years of experience from a variety of backgrounds, including high yield or distressed desks at investment banks or broker-dealers, opportunistic or distressed credit funds, or multi-strategy credit funds. Experience with consumer, retail, and service companies is a plus but not required.

Compensation is $200,000 to $250,000 base salary, plus bonus, plus carry. All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
