Associate or Senior Associate, Special Situations Private Investment Fund

Robin Judson Partners is representing a multi-billion-dollar global special situations fund with long-term locked-up capital and significant dry powder. The fund has a flat organizational structure and a highly regarded senior team with deep experience in special situations credit and structured equity. The mandate is flexible, focusing on creative, mainly private markets special situations investments that generate equity-like returns in an entrepreneurial culture with significant opportunity for growth.

The fund is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with a background combining investment banking (M&A, Leveraged Finance, Restructuring, or Industrials) plus buy-side experience investing in mezzanine debt, structured equity, special situations credit, distressed private equity, carveouts, or other esoteric investments. Total experience should be no more than seven years.

Alternatively, the firm will consider candidates who joined a similar buy-side team directly out of college with at least 2-3 years of direct experience. All candidates must demonstrate the ability to model complex, structured, or equity-like investments. Growth equity or long-short equity backgrounds will not be considered.
