About This Role
Quest Group is actively recruiting for a driven and highly motivated Investment Associate with 3-5 years of experience in investment analysis, underwriting, and market research within the real estate development space. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in real estate assets or prior exposure to development, with strong analytical and modeling skills to support investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analyses for potential investment opportunities
- Support deal structuring, due diligence, and transaction execution for acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships
- Perform market and sector research across real estate and/or telecom industries to identify emerging opportunities and risks
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate performance of existing portfolio investments, including financial performance, industry benchmarking, and risk assessment
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors (legal, financial, technical) to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making on asset allocation and capital deployment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (Master's degree or CFA/CAIA is a plus)
- 2-3 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or corporate finance, preferably within real estate assets or multifamily, mixed use or residential arena
- Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to present findings to senior stakeholders
- Self-starter with attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
