Managing Director, Investment Banking – Business Services M&A

Portage Point Partners is seeking a Managing Director for its Business Services M&A practice within its Investment Banking group. The firm advises middle market companies and their private equity sponsors across the full deal lifecycle.

The Managing Director will be responsible for originating and executing M&A mandates in the business services sector, developing new client relationships with business owners, management teams, and private equity firms, and leading complex sell-side, buy-side, and capital markets engagements.

The MD will report to the IB Practice Line Leader and will work closely with cross-functional teams across Portage Point's integrated advisory platform, including Transaction Advisory Services, Valuations, Office of the CFO, and Turnaround & Restructuring Services. This broad platform enables the MD to offer differentiated, end-to-end solutions to clients navigating transactions, liquidity events, or complex situations.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing transaction processes from origination through closing, building and maintaining senior-level client relationships, managing junior team members, and contributing to the firm's strategic growth initiatives.
