Investment Manager

PhillipCapital is seeking an Investment Manager in Singapore to develop and optimize tactical asset allocation and portfolio construction frameworks. The role involves both quantitative and qualitative methods with predictive signals guiding macro investing activities across equities, bonds, and funds.

Key responsibilities include recommending tactical asset allocation strategies within strategic asset allocation parameters, considering return targets and risk appetite. Strategies may involve asset allocation, style selection, derivatives overlay, and economic regime identification. The role also includes participating in strategic asset allocation for medium/long-term risk-return objectives, with idea generation covering both public and private market asset classes.

Additional responsibilities include facilitating derivatives strategies for efficient portfolio management and FX hedging, keeping abreast of global capital market developments, overseeing preparation for pitches for new investment mandates, and communicating regularly with existing clients. The role also involves oversight of Fund-of-Funds portfolios with underlying unit trusts and ETFs.
