Venture Capital Investor - Principal

A leading venture capital fund, placed exclusively by Asset Partners, is seeking a Principal to join its London office. The fund backs transformative technology start-ups and is looking for a senior investor to play a key role in deal sourcing, execution and portfolio management.

Key responsibilities include assisting Partners in shaping investment strategy and negotiating transactions with high-growth technology companies, sourcing and leading new investment opportunities from origination through to completion, conducting commercial and financial due diligence, monitoring portfolio performance, and mentoring junior team members. There is a clear path to Partner for high performers.

The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of venture capital investing experience, ideally complemented by a background in start-ups, investment banking or consulting. Strong transaction experience at a top-tier VC firm is highly desirable, along with an outstanding academic background and an entrepreneurial mindset.
