Associate / Senior Associate – Lower Mid-Market Private Equity Fund

Our client is an entrepreneurial lower mid-market private equity firm specialising in high-potential investments across the DACH region. With a strong focus on technology-driven value creation, they partner with ambitious companies to drive transformative growth. Headquartered in Berlin, the firm is now looking to expand its investment team by hiring a talented Associate and/or Senior Associate.

As a member of the investment team, you will play a key role in sourcing, executing, and managing investments across the firm's portfolio:

- Deal Sourcing & Origination: Identify investment opportunities and build industry relationships across the DACH region

- Financial Analysis & Valuation: Perform financial modeling, company valuations (DCF, LBO), and due diligence on target companies

- Transaction Execution: Support deal structuring, negotiations, and investment committee presentations

- Portfolio Management: Work closely with portfolio companies to drive growth, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives

- Exit Strategy: Assist in preparing and executing exit processes

- Investor Reporting: Prepare reports for senior leadership, LPs, and contribute to fundraising efforts

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of professional experience in top-tier investment banking or private equity, strong analytical skills, and is a team player with an entrepreneurial mindset. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both German and English are required. The position is based on-site in Berlin.
