Associate / Senior Associate – Strategic Initiatives

Temasek's Strategic Initiatives (SI) group focuses on identifying and investing in strategic opportunities to expand Temasek's reach, influence, and franchise value, while generating long-term compounding returns. SI explores strategic investments, partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations, working closely with Temasek Global Investments (TGI), Temasek Singapore (TSG), and Temasek Partnership Solutions (TPS) to deploy catalytic capital at scale.

Temasek is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Strategic Initiatives team in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

- Support workstreams across investments, new strategies, and strategic value creation opportunities within the SI team

- Work closely with senior investment professionals across Temasek's investment groups

- Identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities, partnerships, and joint ventures

- Contribute to portfolio strategy and capital deployment decisions

- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners across Temasek's global network

- Offices in Singapore, New York, London, Paris, Brussels, San Francisco, Washington DC, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hanoi, Mumbai, and Mexico City

- Long-term investment mandate across public equities, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and credit

Requirements:

- 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or related field

- Strong analytical skills and investment acumen

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Based in or willing to relocate to Singapore
