Role: Investment Operations Associate

Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid)

Reports to: Director of Operations

Experience: 3-5 years

Role Summary:

The Investment Operations Associate will own the day-to-day execution of back and middle office functions, partnering closely with the Director of Operations, supporting both the UHNW client base and endowments.

Key Responsibilities - Back Office:

- Primary executor of back office operations including the full transaction services workflow: money movement, capital call and distribution processing, and alternative investment subscriptions and redemptions

- Ownership of capital call pipeline tracking, monitoring notifications from GPs, coordinating funding with client accounts, and ensuring timely execution

- Alternative investment subscription management: preparing and submitting subscription documents for private equity, private credit, real assets, and hedge fund investments

- Distribution processing: receiving, reconciling, and allocating distributions from LP interests across client portfolios

Middle Office:

- Portfolio data management and reconciliation across custodian platforms and portfolio accounting systems

- Performance reporting support, ensuring accurate NAV updates for alternative holdings

- Supporting investment team with portfolio analytics, exposure reporting, and rebalancing execution

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience in investment operations, ideally at a multi-family office, RIA, OCIO, or alternative investment firm

- Experience with capital calls, alternative investment subscriptions, and LP fund administration preferred

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows

- Proficiency with portfolio accounting systems (e.g., Addepar, Black Diamond, Orion)
