Vice President or Principal, Credit Research

Octagon Credit Investors is a 30-year-old, $33 billion below-investment grade corporate credit investment adviser focused on leveraged loan, high yield bond, private credit and structured credit (CLO debt and equity) investments. The firm is majority-owned by Conning and part of the Generali Investments platform, operating in more than 20 countries.

The Vice President or Principal will serve as a Senior Analyst on the Credit Research team, partnering with members of the Investment Committee to provide buy, sell, or hold recommendations on loans and bonds. Key responsibilities include performing in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses for assigned industry sectors, analyzing macro-economic factors and industry trends to assign internal ratings and investment outlooks, and contributing to overall portfolio management responsibilities.
