Portfolio Manager Private Equity, Infrastructure & Private Debt

NÜRNBERGER Asset Management GmbH, the institutional investment arm of the NÜRNBERGER Group, is seeking a Portfolio Manager for Private Equity, Infrastructure & Private Debt to join its team of 25+ professionals in Nuremberg. Licensed since 2020, the firm manages the Group's capital across public and private markets with a rigorous, institutional approach.

In this role, you will identify, analyze, and select funds, co-investments, and direct investments across Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Private Debt asset classes. You will conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative due diligence and continuously monitor portfolio performance, actively managing risk, diversification, and liquidity. The position involves managing Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) and fund investments with close coordination with external managers, and representing the firm in advisory boards and investor committees.

Additional responsibilities include preparing management reports, decision documents, and presentations for senior stakeholders, contributing to strategic asset allocation, implementing currency hedging, and modeling cash flows, capital calls, and distributions. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing investment and decision-making processes on an ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in economics, mathematics, or natural sciences, ideally supplemented by a CAIA designation or equivalent. Relevant experience in portfolio or investment management focused on Private Equity, Infrastructure, and/or Private Debt at an institutional investor is required. Familiarity with SMAs, mandates, external asset manager oversight, and regulatory frameworks including Solvency II, KAGB, and KWG is expected. Strong German and English language skills are essential.
