About This Role
<p>Nike’s New Business & Corporate Development team is responsible for identifying, modeling, structuring, negotiating, executing and integrating inorganic opportunities and new business model strategies that drive exponential growth for Nike, Inc. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training</li> <li>10+ years of proven experience in investment banking, private equity/venture capital, or corporate development</li> <li>Experience leading transaction structuring, negotiation, execution and integration</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis, with particular emphasis on financial modeling & diligence</li> <li>Proven ability to work on cross-functional teams, influence leadership and drive project momentum forward</li> <li>A knack for framing opportunities, synthesizing challenging concepts and comfort with ambiguity</li> <li>Can-do attitude and history of making stuff happen independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication and superior interpersonal skills</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once</li> <li>Strong passion for Nike</li> </ul> <p><em>Key Functional Capabilities </em></p> <ul class="d9579f95 _005fca58"> <li>Strategic Business & Financial Planning– Ability to connect dots and drivers between long-term strategic business plan and financial outlook across Enterprise & Operating Segments</li> <li>Executive Influence- Strong ability to influence, negotiate and navigate senior leadership landscape with compelling storytelling founded in business acumen</li> <li>Shareholder Value Oriented– Hyper focused on driving value by translating long-term strategy/financial horizon to short-term</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Work On </strong></p> <ul class="d9579f95 _005fca58"> <li>Create insightful hypotheses on how specific opportunities might propel the Nike business forward and maintain our competitive advantage</li> <li>Build comprehensive business cases & strategic rationale supporting specific transactions, and drive leadership alignment and support</li> <li>Synthesize enterprise strategy to identify outsized growth opportunities and the capabilities required to deliver against them</li> <li>Identify, execute, and lead key growth opportunities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver against growth initiatives...
