Monroe Capital is seeking a Business Development Director to support and promote the firm's Private Credit offerings into the Wealth Management Channel, covering the West Coast and Southwest Region of the United States.

Monroe Capital is a private credit investment manager specializing in direct lending and private credit strategies across various structures. The firm distributes private credit products through the wealth management channel including independent RIAs and family offices.

Role Overview

The individual will develop and maintain relationships within the independent RIA and family offices community. This remote role based in the West Coast/Southwest Region requires significant travel.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with Financial Advisors, educating them on Monroe private credit offerings

- Capture sales opportunities and increase market share of client allocations to Monroe's funds

- Conduct one-on-one meetings, group presentations and conference calls with advisors

- Deliver high-quality product knowledge and develop strong rapport with investors to drive fundraising results

- Attend industry events and conferences as appropriate

- Maintain understanding of Monroe's various platforms and offerings

- Leverage management reporting tools to capture sales and client activity

Requirements

- 5-10 years of external Business Development experience in the advisor-sold space with extensive connectivity in the independent wealth management channel (RIAs, Independent Broker-Dealers)

- Proven track record of success in fundraising within the Wealth Management Channel

- Series 7 and 63 licenses required

- Experience in alternative asset management such as private credit, private equity or hedge funds preferred

- CFA or CAIA designation preferred
