About This Role
Macquarie Group is seeking a Vice President, Secondary Investments to join its Investment Solutions team, focused on infrastructure LP-led portfolio secondaries as well as GP-led single asset and multi-asset secondaries transaction opportunities.
As Vice President, you will be primarily engaged in transaction analysis, investment recommendations, and portfolio management. Your responsibilities include initiating and managing fundamental due diligence and analytical efforts throughout transaction opportunities, including investment research, organizing due diligence materials, and preparing investment recommendations. You will lead the analysis of underlying portfolio companies managed by GPs, create sensitivities for fund portfolios and assets, and review market developments to identify asset classes, asset managers, and investments for secondary transaction opportunities.
You will oversee the end-to-end investment process, including the preparation of reports, models, schedules, and final presentation materials, as well as negotiations and discussions with the investment committee. The role also encompasses managing processes related to bidding, purchasing, closing, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting fundraising marketing efforts.

Qualifications: 6+ years of work experience in infrastructure direct investing, infrastructure investment banking, secondaries investing, or secondaries investment banking. Preferred sector experience includes power, renewables, utilities, midstream, digital infrastructure, transportation, and waste. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with strong financial accounting, corporate finance, and valuation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Compensation: $260,000 - $280,000 per year base salary, plus an annual discretionary incentive award. Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, peer and market data, performance, and location.
