About This Role

Legacy25 Capital is a private investment firm supporting business owners during critical phases of growth and transformation, with a focus on legacy preservation, people, and company culture. The firm also provides advisory services to private equity firms and independent sponsors on deal execution and sourcing strategies.

The Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions will lead corporate development initiatives including acquisition strategy, deal execution, and post-transaction integration, playing a key part in shaping the company's long-term growth strategy through disciplined investment, partnership structuring, and value creation across portfolio opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end M&A process: sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of transactions

- Develop and execute acquisition strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives

- Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence across target opportunities

- Partner with executive leadership, finance, legal, and operations to structure and close deals

- Oversee post-merger integration planning to ensure successful execution and value realization

- Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, advisors, and strategic partners

- Identify market trends and expansion opportunities to support inorganic growth strategy

- Present investment recommendations and strategic insights to the executive team and board

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or M&A leadership roles

- Strong background in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring

- Proven experience leading complex transactions from initiation to completion

- MBA or advanced degree preferred

This is a fully remote role based in the United States.
