Head of Business Development and Investor Relations

Landing Point is a registered absolute return investment manager based in the Boston area (Cohasset, MA) that targets uncorrelated returns by investing in closed-end funds and similar alternative investment vehicles. The firm is seeking a Head of Business Development and Investor Relations to join at the partner level and lead institutional fundraising efforts.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for broadening the LP base across geographies and investor types, shaping fundraising strategy, and driving institutional growth. The position involves sourcing new prospective LPs through networking, referrals, conferences, and intermediary relationships, as well as managing ongoing investor relations for existing LPs.

Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining CRM systems and investor pipeline reporting, preparing meeting materials and investor presentations, managing RFPs, DDQs, and due diligence requests, and preparing monthly fact sheets and investor updates. The role also supports the development and launch of new fund products.

Ideal candidates will have significant experience in business development and investor relations within the alternative investment management industry, with a strong network among institutional allocators including endowments, foundations, family offices, and pension funds.
