Junior Investor Analyst

A leading AI-focused venture capital firm based in Palo Alto is hiring a Junior Investor Analyst to join their team. This is an inaugural analyst role, offering direct exposure to venture investing at a well-funded firm with an elite network of researchers, founders, and technical executives.

Reporting directly to a General Partner with a proven track record of backing category-defining AI companies, the successful candidate will drive deal flow by sourcing early-stage AI and robotics startups. This position spans the full venture lifecycle — from initial sourcing and due diligence through to post-investment portfolio support.

Responsibilities include building and managing a proprietary sourcing process to identify high-potential AI and robotics startups, conducting deep-dive research and due diligence to develop investment conviction, participating in founder meetings, collaborating with the investment team to draft investment memos, and supporting portfolio companies with customer introductions, hiring strategy, and go-to-market execution.

The ideal candidate demonstrates intense curiosity and a genuine passion for the evolving AI, robotics, and technology landscape. Candidates should hold a degree from a top-tier university or have 1–2 years of experience in a high-intensity environment (consulting, banking, early-stage startup, or research). An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate independently are essential.
