VC Director

The Corporate Venture Capital Director at Hilti Ventures will identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in construction technology while providing support to portfolio companies. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Hilti software leadership to understand investment strategy, building the venture brand within the startup ecosystem, developing relationships with entrepreneurs and industry experts, sourcing and screening investment opportunities, evaluating startups aligned with Hilti vision, managing deal execution through approval and closing, conducting due diligence including market analysis, preparing investment memorandums for committees, organizing executive meetings between Hilti leaders and founders, sharing construction tech insights, monitoring portfolio companies, and supporting thought leadership initiatives. The role requires a minimum of 25% travel, which can reach 50-75% in some months.
