About This Role

A top-producing private markets team at a major global wealth management firm is hiring a Private Market Associate to help grow their private equity placement business. The team operates on an open-architecture model, independently sourcing and vetting high-conviction PE deals across strategies and raising capital from family offices and ultra-high-net-worth investors—without being tied to any single fund manager.

This is an outbound business development role in which the Associate will prospect family offices and UHNW investors through targeted cold calling, email campaigns, and relationship building. The team provides research tools, lead sourcing, and a clear methodology for identifying and prioritizing targets across geographies and investor types.

Key responsibilities include prospecting and engaging family offices and UHNW investors through targeted outreach, building and managing a pipeline of prospective investors, researching target markets, supporting the senior team in preparing and delivering presentations, and developing working knowledge of the team's active deal flow and investment strategies.

The position requires 2+ years of experience in financial services, FINRA SIE/Series 7/Series 66 licenses (or ability to obtain within six months), comfort with outbound prospecting, and genuine interest in private equity and alternative investments. The role is based in New York or Palm Beach.
