About This Role

Goldman Sachs Private Bank is seeking a Vice President to join its Capital Call Financing (CCF) business, which provides fund-level financing through subscription facilities secured by the uncalled capital commitments of a fund's limited partners. These facilities help sponsors enhance fund performance, accelerate access to capital, reduce capital call frequency, and bridge to asset-level leverage throughout a fund lifecycle.

The role sits at the intersection of origination, underwriting, and relationship management, supporting private equity and alternative investment sponsors with bespoke subscription finance solutions. The individual will be responsible for sourcing opportunities, structuring facilities, and ensuring disciplined credit execution in partnership with Credit Risk Management and broader Private Bank stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include sourcing new Capital Call Financing opportunities and managing ongoing relationships with private equity sponsors, fund managers, and internal coverage teams. The VP will act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering tailored subscription finance solutions aligned with fund strategy and investor composition.

On the credit side, the role involves evaluating the credit, structural, and economic risks of capital call facilities using rigorous analytical judgment. The successful candidate will diligence fund sponsors, investment strategies, LP bases, PPMs, and LPAs across asset classes including buyout, growth, real estate, infrastructure, and credit funds. They will structure facilities across uncommitted, partially committed, and fully committed revolvers, and maintain borrowing base certificates, cashflow models, and transaction-level credit analyses.

The VP will prepare high-quality credit approval materials, monitor covenant compliance, collateral performance, and borrowing base dynamics throughout each facility lifecycle, and partner closely with Credit Risk Management, Legal, Operations, and GS Bank USA.

Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree (CPA or CFA a plus) and bring strong analytical, credit structuring, and relationship management skills within alternative asset lending or fund finance.
