About This Role

Goldman Sachs Asset Management, one of the world's leading asset managers with over $3 trillion in assets under supervision, is seeking a Vice President to join its Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF) team within the Vintage Strategies platform. ACF manages capital raising and strategy for alternative investments including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainability, secondaries, GP stakes, and hedge funds.

This specific role focuses on the Vintage Real Assets strategies, covering both Infrastructure and Real Estate secondary funds. The Vintage Platform has been a leader in secondary investing since 1998, having invested over $85 billion across more than 775 secondary transactions across nine globally diversified secondary funds.

The VP will lead client engagement and product management across the full fundraising lifecycle for the Vintage Real Assets strategies, including fund launches, interim closes, final close, and post-close investor engagement. They will serve as a core commercial partner to the secondaries investment team, collaborating closely on fund strategy, mandate design, vehicle structuring, and positioning to align investment objectives with investor demand.

The role involves building and deepening long-term relationships with global institutional investors across pensions, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, endowments, foundations, and consultants, with a focus on repeat capital formation and strategic partnerships. The VP will manage a high volume of investor interaction including due diligence processes, portfolio and performance updates, and ongoing investor requests.

Ideal candidates bring relevant experience in capital formation, investor relations, or institutional sales within the alternatives space, particularly across real assets, infrastructure, or real estate strategies. Strong communication skills, relationship management abilities, and knowledge of private market fund structures are essential.
