Private Equity Analyst

A Memphis-based private investment firm is seeking a Private Equity Analyst to join its growing investment team. The role offers direct exposure to buy-side M&A transactions, financial due diligence, and portfolio company support alongside experienced investors and executive teams.

Core responsibilities include evaluating and executing buy-side M&A opportunities, building detailed financial models, forecasts, and valuations, conducting due diligence across market analysis, operational reviews, and risk assessments, and preparing investment memorandums to support deal execution. The analyst will also provide corporate finance and accounting support to portfolio companies.

Candidates should have prior experience in family office investing, private equity, M&A, or corporate development, paired with strong financial modeling skills and a solid foundation in accounting and financial reporting. A bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required; an MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is preferred.
