Portfolio Manager, Private Markets

Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS) is seeking a Portfolio Manager, Private Markets to join its collaborative multi-asset investment team in New York.

FTIS brings together asset allocation, manager research, and implementation to deliver innovative multi-asset investment solutions across public and private markets. The team works closely to drive portfolio construction, execution, and strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities

- Co-manage private markets solutions end-to-end in partnership with internal teams and external managers

- Support portfolio construction and asset allocation across strategies

- Partner with internal and external investment teams to select and monitor investments

- Oversee the investment lifecycle across primaries, secondaries, and co-investments in private asset classes including private infrastructure equity and debt

- Support due diligence and manage the underwriting process for new investments

- Manage liquidity, capital deployment, and risk for private market solutions

- Monitor and report on portfolio holdings with ongoing manager oversight
