Associate / Senior Associate

FP Global is recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate for the Singapore office of an established Japanese private equity firm with a long-standing track record across Asia. The firm operates with a disciplined, hands-on investment approach and an entrepreneurial culture, with a growing focus on cross-border opportunities across Southeast Asia. The Singapore team is lean and collaborative, offering broad exposure across the full transaction lifecycle — from evaluation and execution through to portfolio monitoring and value creation initiatives.

As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will build and maintain detailed financial models including operating models, discounted cash flow analyses, leveraged buyout models, comparable company analyses, precedent transactions, and sensitivity analysis. You will support the evaluation of new investment opportunities across Southeast Asia through financial and commercial analysis, assessing key investment risks, return drivers, and value creation opportunities.

On the deal execution side, you will support end-to-end transaction processes including due diligence coordination, data room review, financial analysis, and deal documentation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, management teams, advisors, lenders, and counterparties throughout live transactions, and assist in transaction structuring where required.

The role also involves conducting in-depth industry, market, competitor, and company research to support investment theses and screening of new opportunities, monitoring sector trends and macroeconomic developments across Southeast Asia, and preparing investment materials and internal reports for the senior team.

This position offers meaningful responsibility on live transactions within a growing platform, reporting directly to the Investment Director and Managing Director.
