Investment Senior Manager / Director

SD Legal is recruiting an Investment Senior Manager or Director on behalf of a mid-sized, multi-asset class private equity and investment platform with offices across the United States and Asia. The firm manages over a billion dollars in AUM and offers an opportunity to work across a global investment program spanning Technology, Healthcare, Education, Sports, and Finance.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating high-potential investment opportunities across target industries, and overseeing comprehensive due diligence processes covering financial, strategic, operational, and go-to-market dimensions. You will work closely with the Managing Director to structure investment proposals, negotiate terms, and close transactions. The role includes an active leadership dimension — managing and mentoring Associates to develop their technical and deal execution capabilities.

Candidates should hold strong academic credentials from a Tier 1 university and bring at least seven years of experience at a leading private equity firm, venture capital firm, or family office. A demonstrated track record in leading investment processes, combined with strong financial modelling, negotiation, and legal acumen, is essential. Experience managing junior team members is also required.
