Executive Director, Aerospace & Defense Sponsor Coverage

Fifth Third Bank's Financial Sponsors Group seeks an Executive Director for Aerospace & Defense Sponsor Coverage. This role involves active coverage and relationship management of private equity firms and alternative asset managers that invest in the A&D sector. The focus is driving deep connectivity with key decision makers, leading to M&A advisory, leveraged finance, and commercial banking engagements.

Key responsibilities include: developing individual strategies for 30+ unique sponsor clients; originating and overseeing lead financing transactions for high-value portfolio companies; collaborating with sector teams and product partners across capital markets and commercial banking; generating revenue across M&A advisory, leveraged finance, capital markets, fund finance, and treasury management.

This senior role offers direct exposure to PE firms, portfolio companies, and cross-platform collaboration. Business travel is a core component. May include direct/indirect supervision of junior bankers.
