Senior Vice President, Head of Private Credit & Co-Head of Alternatives

Role Overview

Everest, a global leader in risk management with a 50+ year heritage, is seeking an accomplished investment executive to serve as Senior Vice President, Head of Private Credit and Co-Head of Alternatives. This senior leadership role is responsible for the strategic direction, portfolio construction, manager selection, risk oversight, and performance of Everest's private credit platform, partnering with the Head of Private Equity and Real Assets to oversee the broader Alternatives portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the continued evolution of Everest's private credit portfolio, spanning direct lending, asset-based finance, opportunistic credit, private placements, structured credit, and other alternative credit strategies

- Balance risk-adjusted return opportunities with capital efficiency, liquidity management, rating agency considerations, and regulatory requirements

- Develop and execute Everest's private credit investment strategy across all credit segments

- Lead portfolio construction, manager selection, and sizing decisions

- Serve as a member of the Investment Leadership Team, helping shape strategic asset allocation, investment policy, risk management frameworks, and long-term capital deployment decisions across the firm's global investment portfolio

Qualifications

- Proven track record as a senior investment executive in private credit / alternatives

- Experience managing institutional investment structures and partnerships across investment-grade and non-investment-grade private credit and asset-backed finance
