Senior Investment Manager - Renewable Energy Projects

ENOVA Group, one of Germany's largest onshore wind energy operators, is seeking a Senior Investment Manager for its renewable energy investment team, based in Hamburg. ENOVA is a developer, investor, service provider and operator in German electricity generation, specializing in wind parks and renewable energy assets. The company manages 1 GW of onshore wind capacity serving approximately one million households and targets 3 GW under management with €5 billion in assets under management by end of 2030.

The Senior Investment Manager will be responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities in wind and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across Germany. The role involves independently managing acquisition processes from initial assessment through due diligence to successful closing, maintaining focus on timeline, quality and economic returns throughout.

Key responsibilities include serving as project lead in the full transaction process, coordinating resources and stakeholders through deal completion; developing, challenging and optimizing financial models and translating these into well-supported investment recommendations; structuring acquisition and project financing in collaboration with investors, banks and project partners; and negotiating contracts, purchase prices and equity participation models.

The ideal candidate brings experience in investment or M&A environments, or relevant background from a bank, asset manager, project developer or transaction advisory firm, with a demonstrated track record of completed acquisitions and partnerships in the renewable energy sector.
