Director - Private Equity Advisory

CrossCountry Consulting, a rapidly growing advisory firm recognized on Inc5000's Fastest Growing Companies and Glassdoor's Best Places to Work, is seeking a Director to join its Private Equity practice.

The firm provides advisory solutions across accounting and risk, technology-enabled transformation, and transactions, partnering with clients to solve complex operational challenges. Within the Private Equity practice, CrossCountry serves as a trusted operational partner to leading PE sponsors and their portfolio companies.

In today's competitive deal market, private equity is increasingly turning to operational enhancements as a driver for value creation in investment portfolios. CrossCountry's PE team serves as an extension of leading PE sponsors to drive meaningful and sustainable operational changes across their portfolios, particularly within the Office of the CFO.

As a Director, the role involves a mix of client delivery, business development, team leadership, and junior team development, while serving as a member of CrossCountry's leadership team. The individual will guide CFOs at PE-backed portfolio companies as they build scalable accounting and finance functions that support the investment thesis.

The practice works across functional areas including financial reporting, accounting transformation, FP&A, ERP implementation, and operational finance improvement. The Director will source and develop new client relationships within the PE sponsor ecosystem while delivering high-impact engagements across portfolio companies.

Ideal candidates bring first-hand experience in private equity advisory, public accounting, or corporate finance transformation, with a demonstrated track record of leading client engagements within the PE ecosystem.
