Vice President of Accounting and Finance – Real Estate Family Office

A well-established real estate family office is seeking a Vice President of Accounting and Finance to join its growing team. The firm manages a diversified portfolio spanning real estate assets and private investments, and offers a highly entrepreneurial environment with direct exposure to senior leadership and investment activity.

This fully remote role is best suited for candidates located in the Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, or Delaware area. It represents a unique opportunity for a high-performing finance professional seeking a broad, strategic role with clear long-term growth potential, including a defined path toward CFO.

The VP of Accounting and Finance will oversee accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities including investment vehicles and operating companies, prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and external stakeholders, and coordinate audits, tax compliance, and banking relationships with external advisors.

Additional responsibilities include supporting transaction activity such as due diligence, structuring, and post-close integration; developing financial models, cash flow analyses, and investor reporting materials; enhancing internal controls and systems to support continued growth; and acting as key liaison with lenders, investors, auditors, and other third parties.

Qualifications: CPA designation required with strong knowledge of GAAP; 5–8+ years in accounting or finance with a public accounting background preferred; experience with multi-entity structures, consolidated reporting, or investment-related accounting; familiarity with common accounting platforms and strong Excel modeling skills. Prior exposure to real estate, private equity, or investment management is a strong advantage.
