About This Role
A top-tier, growth-oriented private equity group in Chicago seeks a Chief Human Resources Officer to lead human capital strategy across its portfolio of middle-market companies. The CHRO will partner with Managing Partners and portfolio company leadership to drive value creation through talent optimization, M&A integration, and organizational effectiveness. Key responsibilities include strategic HR leadership, M&A lifecycle management from due diligence through integration, talent development and succession planning, organizational design, and executive compensation program design. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of HR experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role, significant PE-backed company experience, and expertise in M&A HR integration. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certifications and an MBA are preferred.
