Managing Director, Capital Markets

Brixton Capital is a real estate private equity firm seeking a Managing Director of Capital Markets to lead its institutional fundraising and investor relations platform.

The MD, Capital Markets will develop and execute a comprehensive capital raising strategy targeting high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, registered investment advisors (RIAs), and institutional investors including pensions, endowments, and insurance companies. The role involves sourcing and closing equity commitments for programmatic JV relationships and deal-specific co-investments, while building and managing a robust investor pipeline with defined conversion metrics.

Key responsibilities include serving as the primary relationship manager for key investors, driving investor retention and re-ups, and translating Brixton's investment strategy into compelling investor messaging. The MD will partner closely with the CIO and acquisitions teams to align capital strategy with the investment pipeline, and will structure JV equity partnerships, preferred equity solutions, fund vehicles, and separate accounts.

The role also encompasses leading equity raises end-to-end from initial outreach through closing, overseeing pitch materials, investment memos, and data rooms, and negotiating key business terms with investors and partners. Over time, the MD will build and lead a dedicated capital markets team and institutionalize Brixton's capital markets infrastructure including CRM systems, investor segmentation, and reporting protocols.

Qualifications include 12–20+ years in real estate private equity capital raising, investment banking (real estate coverage), or institutional asset management, with a demonstrated track record of raising $500M–$2B+ from family offices, HNW networks, and institutional LPs.
