About This Role
A growing European private equity firm based in Boston, Massachusetts is seeking a Private Equity Analyst, placed through Boutique Recruiting. The firm engages in approximately 8-10 deals annually across the lower to mid-market.
The Private Equity Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting investment decisions, with responsibilities including analyzing financials and potential investments, supporting due diligence efforts, creating investment presentations, researching markets and industries, assisting portfolio companies with acquisitions, tracking performance metrics, and helping prepare reporting and fundraising materials.
The firm promotes from within and fosters a collaborative environment where analysts work closely with a small, dedicated team from day one. The role offers valuable exposure to the full investment lifecycle from origination through portfolio management.
The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience with strong financial modeling skills and familiarity with small boutique investment banks focused on mid to lower market companies. Preferred exposure to the SaaS or software sector. Compensation range: $80,000 to $120,000 per year depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 6% match, 22 PTO days, and monthly wellness benefit.
