Job Description: Responsible for the review, oversight and ownership of financial reporting and related SEC filings for certain Blackstone perpetual 40 act funds Ensure the financial results are appropriately recorded in the fund’s financial statements and SEC filings including all required financial disclosures and footnotes Ensure new transactions are appropriately disclosed in related filings Manage business relationships and ongoing communications with internal and external auditors Contributed to automation and AI reporting solutions supporting the greater SEC perpetual finance transformation initiatives Positively contribute to the greater SEC perpetual finance team-based culture Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects Generate creative solutions to improve processes Managing and mentoring junior staff Qualifications: BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA license is required 8+ years of public or mixed public/private accounting experience Experience with registered funds / 40 Act funds and related reporting is required. Experience with PE secondaries and related accounting, valuation, and operations is preferred Demonstrates initiative and an eagerness to learn Embraces and leads automation and related AI finance transformation initiatives Strong written and verbal communication skills Enjoys contributing to a team and thrives in a team based / highly collaborative environment Highly organized, proactive, and strong time management skills Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic Excited to coach and mentor junior team members Ideal candidates would have a commitment to excellence in their work product and a desire to learn and grow as a professional The duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
