About This Role

A leading investment bank based in Boston is seeking an Investment Banking Associate (Associate 1 or Associate 2) to join its highly active Consumer M&A team. This role is being placed by DA Trading Recruitment on behalf of the firm.

This is a strong opportunity to join a top-performing sell-side M&A platform with a robust deal pipeline, high-profile clients, and significant exposure to live transactions across the consumer sector. The firm offers a collaborative culture with clear career progression and competitive compensation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Execution of live M&A transactions with primary focus on sell-side mandates across the consumer sector

- Preparation of comprehensive financial models, valuation analyses, and marketing materials for live processes

- Managing due diligence processes and data rooms

- Supporting senior bankers in client interaction and transaction management throughout deal processes

- Coordinating with legal counsel, buyers, and other advisors across live transactions

- Mentoring and overseeing analysts on deal execution

- Assisting in business development initiatives and preparation of pitch materials

Ideal candidates will have 3–6 years of investment banking experience with strong sell-side M&A execution background. Prior experience at a bulge bracket, elite boutique, or mid-market investment bank is preferred. Consumer sector experience is advantageous but candidates from other sector teams with strong M&A execution credentials will be considered. Strong financial modelling, valuation capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment are essential.
