Director of Finance (Family Office)

Atlas Search is partnering with a prestigious NYC-based philanthropic family office on a newly created Director of Finance opportunity. This is a rare chance to step into a highly visible role supporting an ultra-high-net-worth family and helping build best-in-class financial infrastructure from the ground up.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the full spectrum of financial operations across personal and family office entities, maintaining a consolidated view of trusts, real estate, investments, insurance, banking relationships, and liabilities, managing cash flow, liquidity planning, bill pay, taxes, insurance, and property-related expenses. The Director will partner closely with external service providers including tax advisors, estate attorneys, and private banking teams, and build and enhance financial controls, reporting processes, and governance infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in family office financial operations, UHNW advisory, or related environments, with proven success in start-up or build-out environments. Exceptional discretion and experience handling confidential financial matters is essential. NYC-based with ability to be in the NYC office 3 days per week.

Compensation: $200k-$250k total compensation.
