Vice President, Global Allocations

Ares Management is seeking a Vice President to join the Global Allocations Team within the Corporate Strategy Group in New York, one of the largest and most diversified alternative investment managers globally.

The Corporate Strategy Group partners directly with firm leadership—including the Executive Chairman, CEO, and Co-Presidents—on the most critical strategic initiatives across the platform. The Global Allocations Team specifically is responsible for the design and oversight of Ares firmwide investment allocation framework, ensuring disciplined capital deployment across Credit, Private Equity, Real Assets, and Secondaries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead key components of Ares Global Allocations initiative, including the development of governance frameworks, processes, and systems supporting centralized investment allocations

- Work closely with legal, compliance, and investment teams across all Ares business lines to optimize capital allocation, manage portfolio constraints, and ensure adherence to fund mandates

- Support the buildout of a newly centralized global allocations function, involving new process creation and implementation

- Collaborate with the CIO, portfolio managers, and business group leaders on firmwide capital deployment decisions

- Maintain exposure to Ares full investment platform spanning credit, private equity, real assets, and secondaries

This role sits at the intersection of investing, portfolio construction, and firmwide strategy, offering significant senior leadership exposure within one of the world top alternative asset managers.
