Associate, Venture Capital

Cerity Partners Ventures (CPV) is hiring an Associate to join the team in Los Angeles. Founded as Touchdown Ventures in 2014, CPV pioneered Venture Capital-as-a-Service (VCaaS) for corporations, working with industry leaders such as Avery Dennison, Kellogg, Olympus, and T-Mobile. With a team of 40+ investment professionals across Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, CPV manages more than 15 corporate venture capital funds.

Cerity Partners Ventures works closely with corporate clients to develop and execute innovation strategies. Associates source and qualify opportunities for some of the world's most successful corporations to partner with and invest in startups. This Los Angeles role focuses on investing in startups relevant to food & agriculture, CPG, and industrial manufacturing sectors.

Primary responsibilities include identifying startups for investments and commercial partnerships, meeting with entrepreneurs and evaluating business plans and pitches, developing relationships with founders, tracking deal flow, researching industry sectors and market dynamics, and assisting with due diligence and closing transactions. The role requires a minimum bachelor's degree and preferably 1-3 years of relevant experience in consulting, financial services, or startup operating roles. Compensation is $100,000 + Performance Bonus.
