Associate, ESG Data & Investor Reporting

Ares Management, a global alternative investment manager with over $400 billion in AUM across credit, private equity, real assets, and infrastructure, is seeking an Associate for its ESG Data & Investor Reporting team in New York.

The role sits at the intersection of data analytics and investor relations, communicating Ares' sustainability strategy, performance, and impact to its global institutional investor base across all asset classes.

Key responsibilities include integrating data from ESG vendors including MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, and Bloomberg; building and maintaining Power BI dashboards for ESG metrics; conducting QA/QC processes on ESG data; driving carbon accounting initiatives using Watershed; leveraging SQL to extract and analyze portfolio requirements; and leading preparation of regular and ad-hoc investor reports across deal teams and compliance.

The position requires strong relationship management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate data systems while working effectively with investment teams, IR, legal, and compliance across the Ares platform.
