Apollo Insurance Solutions Group (“ISG”) is seeking an experienced Director to manage its Los Angeles-based Middle Office Operations team. This is a manager role for an operations professional who combines deep technical expertise in investment operations with strong management capabilities. The Director will report directly to the Head of ISG Middle Office Operations and will be responsible for leading a team across trade support, collateral management, portfolio rebalancing, client service, and investment funding operations. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape and scale ISG’s middle office function, drive operational excellence, and partner closely with investment, front office, accounting, and technology teams in a fast-paced investment management business. Primary Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Middle Office Operations professionals in the ELS office, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. Provide day-to-day oversight, set clear priorities, and ensure accountability across the team’s deliverables and timelines. Support career development, performance management, and talent retention for direct reports. Serve as the primary escalation point for the team on complex operational issues, trade disputes, and client inquiries. Oversee trade processing and settlement across multiple asset classes, including fixed income, equities, alternatives, repurchase agreements, bank loans, CLOs, and primary market deals. Monitor and resolve trade issues and inquiries from clients, front office, brokers, and custodians to ensure timely and accurate settlement.
