Senior Director, Origination - Credit Investments

About the Role:

The firm is seeking a Senior Director to play a key leadership role in the USA market. You will manage commercial opportunities from inception through final execution as part of a global team, with a focus on the North American market. In this client-facing origination role, you will source new business, manage client relationships, and collaborate with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source prospective clients (companies) and generate deal flow in the growth-stage tech lending space

- Perform initial vetting (including calls and meetings with C-suite) of prospective clients

- Liaise between prospective clients and the investment team to ensure smooth due diligence and execution

- Handle negotiations with prospective clients alongside the investment management team

- Maintain full CRM notation of business cycle progress

Requirements:

- 10–15 years of experience at a top-tier financial institution: venture capital, private equity, commercial bank, or debt/credit provider

- Minimum 8 years in a client-facing role: sales, origination, or relationship management

- Demonstrable ability to originate and close transactions

- Experience in and understanding of the growth-stage tech landscape

- Experience with credit/debt fund deal flow activity is an advantage
