Investment Director

Alfa AI is a London-based private investment and growth platform that backs founder-led, service-led, and professional services businesses across multiple sectors. The firm partners closely with entrepreneurs to support growth, operational scale, strategic partnerships, and long-term value creation.

Working closely with senior leadership and the Chief Investment Officer, the Investment Director will play a key role across origination, execution, portfolio support, and value creation initiatives. This is a highly commercial role suited to an individual who enjoys operating in entrepreneurial environments and working closely with founders and management teams.

The successful candidate will lead transactions end-to-end while also supporting portfolio companies through strategic and operational growth initiatives, including preparation for future exits and expansion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Origination and evaluation of new investment opportunities across multiple sectors

- Leading transaction execution, including commercial, operational, and financial diligence

- Supporting portfolio companies post-investment, including board participation where appropriate

- Driving value creation initiatives across portfolio businesses

- Working alongside founders and leadership teams on growth strategy, operational improvements, acquisitions, and scaling initiatives

- Supporting exit preparation and strategic positioning of portfolio companies

Your Profile:

- Strong investment experience with a track record in deal execution and portfolio management

- Ability to operate independently and take ownership in an entrepreneurial environment

- Proven relationship-building skills with founders and senior management teams

- Excellent analytical, modelling, and commercial judgement skills
