Investment Associate / Principal

Superscrypt is a global early-stage Web3 fund bringing sovereign capital, institutional access, and deep operating experience to the next generation of crypto companies. Based in Singapore, founded by Temasek and backed by institutional investors, Superscrypt invests first cheque into web3 protocols and applications.

The firm seeks an Investment Associate or Principal (level commensurate with experience) to join the investment team in New York. The role involves researching novel areas of investment, sourcing opportunities, building a network of deal-sourcing relationships, and being deeply involved in investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment:

- Source high-potential founders and investment opportunities in the Web3 space

- Lead diligence — analysing return potential, team capability, technology, product-market fit, and community

- Structure and execute deals (equity, tokens, lead/co-lead/follow-on)

- Write internal investment memos and present cases to the investment committee

Portfolio Support:

- Support portfolio companies on strategy, fundraising, go-to-market, and scaling

- Help founders navigate market cycles and challenges

Thought Leadership:

- Research novel investment areas including stablecoins, DeFi, RWA tokenization, Crypto x AI

- Share insights and thesis development with the broader team
